Why have I decided to produce this web site ?.
Many serious and amateur photographers have in the past joined local camera clubs to share their knowledge and experiences with other like minded members. It was also an excellent way to show off your photographs and see work from others by the way of monthly and annually competitions/exhibitions. The constructive criticism made by judges on you’re efforts and others could be extremely beneficial for use in future projects. Having said that, as long as you’re happy with a photograph, then that’s all that matters. If a judge praises its content, sharpness, exposure, etc then his comments can only be a bonus.
Unfortunately, like myself, it can be difficult to attend a camera club, regrettably there are no longer as many clubs in existence as there were some time ago, or others work rotating shifts which make it impossible to attend at regular periods. This is the main reason for my construction of a web site. It gives other photographers a chance to see my work and comment on it if they so wish by email. There are thousands of individuals interested in photography who have individual sites and also some large clubs have them. Now whatever you’re circumstance are it is possible to belong to an easy accessible worldwide photo club.
